Appointments
When You Call for an Appointment
Your call will be answered by our switchboard operator who will transfer your call to the appropriate office. When you reach your doctor’s receptionist, please give a brief explanation of the reason for your visit, so we can schedule sufficient time for your visit.
We always try to schedule your appointment for the same day you call. However, it may not be possible to schedule routine appointments for the same day.
Please advise the receptionist if there have been any changes to your address, insurance, employer or responsible party information.
Please give a daytime phone number where you may be reached if we need to contact you before your appointment.
Appointments for Minors
Minors presenting for an appointment must be accompanied by an authorized adult. Parents or legal guardians need to sign a Consent to Treat Form authorizing another adult to accompany a minor for medical services.
Return Appointments
When scheduling a return or follow-up appointment after seeing your doctor, please stop at the reception desk to make the appointment with the receptionist before you leave the office.
When Cancelling an Appointment
Please let us know about cancellations at least 24 hours in advance or as soon as possible. Time has been reserved for you, and without your notification of a cancellation, another patient may have to wait for an appointment.
When We have to Change Your Appointment Time
Occasionally, an emergency will alter your doctor’s schedule, and we will have to change your appointment time. If this happens, we will try to notify you of the situation as quickly as possible to avoid any inconvenience for you.
Appointment Time
There may be times when your physician cannot see you at your appointed time due to an emergency or a patient whose treatment required more time than anticipated. We know your time is valuable. Our providers will make every effort to see you at your appointed time. In the event that your physician will be delayed for an extended amount of time, our receptionists will inform you and will give you an opportunity to reschedule.
Work Related Injuries
See our Occupational Medicine page.
Walk-in appointments
Walk-in appointments will be accommodated if the physician’s appointment schedule will allow.
